try this for emailing

Hey Steph or anyone else. Try this to set up posting by email.

From the DASHBOARD, click on the "change settings" little blue thing.

Click on the "email" tab.

There should be two things there. You want the one that looks something like this:
youraddress.(BLANK SPOT)@blogger.com.

In that BLANK SPOT you enter a secret password so you can post by email. You use that complete address from your email account.

Click on the PUBLISH box and then click SAVE SETTINGS.

Let me know if that works for you. Hopefully it doesnt make the default my address since I did it already.

email posting

This is much easier (if it works) since I have such difficulty remembering the steps to creating a new post on our blog.  Maybe it's a pregnancy thing.....forgetting how to do stuff all the time.  Oops, I played the pregnancy card again!  Wouldn't want to wear it out too early, I still have a long way to go.  (Keep your mouth shut Erin.)  :)

Bring words and photos together (easily) with
PhotoMail - it's free and works with Yahoo! Mail.

Emailing to post

So at dinner last night with Ter, Lisa and Steph (which was super fun of course), I told them about this fantastic idea of being able to post to our blog via email (especially nice for those who don't like the cumbersome method of signing in and all that).  So I set it up and am trying it now.  I don't want to publish the address cause then maybe any joe-shmoe could write... and I don't think we have any Joes in our family.  Do we?  Lisa, I'll need to see the tree.

So, how this works: in your email system, you start a new email.
In the TO: section you put the email address.
What you write in the subject area will be your post's Title, or Header .
Then write your post in the body of the email.
Click send.
TA-DA!  It should work.  If this post makes it, then it did for me.

My Fog Fac thing

I don't think that it's very impressive. but I'm going to try to learn a new knot every week. This month I've already learned a diamond hitch, and a trucker's hitch.
It's just off the hook here!!!

Theater classes for Gen

I signed her up for theater dance classes at the BECK CENTER in Lakewood. I am so excited for her and I know she is too! She starts on Feb 4th- every Sat. morning 9-11 am and if she finds that she doesn't like it, I told her she has to suffer through the classes until the end (in May). I told to think she will be done with these classes before actual school. After the classes are done she will be able to AUDITION for a play called Once Upon a Mattress which is the Princess and the Pea story. The lady told me she had a great stage name, how cool is that?!?!

Stephanie's FAFOG FAC GOAL

If Stephanie can make it through to August 1st without pulling out her hair...I think she should rent a ski-doo and take it out behind the breakwall. I'll even offer to babysit. Jet skis are a blast....like a motorcycle on the water....except you don't get road rash when you fall off.

And as for Erin's comment.....I'm willing to go along with anybody. Erin has already gone bungee jumping and I don't think anyone else will post that as a goal...so I'm safe there. Genevieve tried liver already so I don't have to eat that again. Yep....I'm good to go. Bring it on!

FOG FACs

Cripe Amen! I should check the comments! I didn't realize FOG FACs were being discussed in the "comments" area. So who is going to keep track of everything and see who accomplishes their goal? With this crowd, I'm not so sure we should go with the honor system....that's not to say I think anyone would cheat...
And is there a prize involved?
oooooo I just thought of something...We could think up stuff for each other. Like I think Terri should go horseback riding. And Aunt MaryAnn should go up in a hot air ballon. And Mike should go scuba diving in Lake Erie. And Lisa should learn to ride a motorcycle. Maybe I should think up stuff for everybody. I seem to be good at it.

Hi Andi!

Nice to see you on here. EVERYONE needs to help others get on here- I sent a message to you Aunt Leslie. Make a name for yourself. And I will remind everyone again, EVERYONE is an administrator. As soon as you become a member Aunt Leslie, I or someone else can make you an administrator. Lets get Mark and the other boys on here too if they want. Mark has a new baby, does everyone know that?!?! We need pics. As an administrator you can change the arrangement of the blog, change the colors, etc. We will get you on here Aunt Leslie! Love, Terri

I'm FIRST!!

Comments don't count! I'm first to "post" in 2006! Yay me!!
Now about these FOG FACS ..... noone has stated any yet. I don't think there is a time frame but maybe we should be thinking.
Last year I did not accomplish my FOG FAC that only I knew about but I DID make a road trip with Gen. We swam with the dolphins in Florida. I had a mole removed from under my eye. I poisoned a lilac bush...by mistake. I huffed helium at the family picnic and I had my navel pierced. All these were "firsts" for me. Some of them were even crazy. It was a good year.

So on to 2006. I intend to make a tandem jump from a plane this year. (and once again I"M FIRST! First to state my FOG FAC!)

For a complete list of everything else I did in 2005, please visit my own personal blog site.
Oh wait! I don't have one! hahahaha (geez I crack myself up!)
